We have been connected with the Goldfish Swim School – Portland team since before they opened their doors and have been consistently impressed by the care and dedication of both the team and owners, Jennifer and Tim. When Goldfish Swim School opened, there was a real need for an organized swim lessons program with strong availability for families in the Greater Portland area. Goldfish Swim School met that need with a top-notch facility, a lesson system that truly works, and a space that has quickly become a local birthday party favorite. Most importantly, they provide children not only with swim lessons, but with essential water safety skills they can carry with them for a lifetime.
“At Goldfish Swim School – Portland, we pride ourselves on offering top-quality swim lessons to children. Our state-of-the-art tropically decorated facility opened in December 2023 and offers a highly trained staff of local swim instructors, lifeguards, front desk staff and a dedicated managment team that started with us on day one!
We have quickly become a leader in water safety serving the community through swim lessons, family swims and birthday parties. We partner with local businesses, schools, and other community organizations; to spread the message about water safety to children and caregivers.
Our learn-to-swim facility welcomes aspiring swimmers between the ages of 4 months and 12 years old. We promise to provide:

The Little Gym of Scarborough
Since opening their doors in late 2024, owners Wes and Jodi have built more than a children’s gym. They have created a space where kids are encouraged to grow in confidence, develop essential skills, and feel supported every step of the way. Their philosophy centers on nurturing the whole child, physically, socially, and emotionally, and that same people-first mindset extends well beyond their walls.
From day one, philanthropy and community involvement have been core to how they operate. The Scarborough team has shown up consistently for local families and for community initiatives, generously supporting events, local causes, and opportunities that strengthen the special kid-friendly ecosystem that we have here in Greater Portland.
