It’s that time of year again. Time to come up with gift ideas. Maybe people are asking you to come up with a wish list for yourself, or maybe you are trying to come up with ideas for someone you love.

My goal with this list was to share some ideas and include something for just about anyone. As I make my way through Christmas shopping this year I expect that I may come back to this post to add more gift ideas- so check back too!
1.) L.L. Bean Slippers

In true Maine fashion, I have to start with L.L. Bean. L.L. Bean slippers are life changing. Most men love the look and feel of the Wicked Good Moccasins (I know because I used to work retail at Bean’s) My husband loves all the L.L. Bean slippers (and owns several different styles), but the L.L. Bean Leather Double-Sole Slipper is his favorite.
If you are an L.L. Bean lover already you probably noticed that the ones pictured above are the ladies version of the Wicked Good Moccasin. Yup, those are my feet. Ladies, you may want to put this on your own wish list as well. I can’t live without mine. Once you have a pair of L.L. Bean slippers, you will not be willing to settle for less.

Yeti Products
While Yeti products are pricey, they are of a quality that I feel justifies the price. They offer a great variety of useful products that are also game-changers. As you know, the higher price tag often also means that this is something that you are happy to receive as a gift, but you may be hesitant to splurge on for yourself.
2.) Yeti Rambler Tumbler

The Rambler Tumbler is perfect for the person who works in an office or out of their car. It is also great for working from home, or stay at home parents! Oh, and perfect for someone who is retired too!
These will keep drinks ice cold or hot all day long. We have multiple of them and I swear by them and use them Every.Single.Day. Busy moms and dads don’t get a sip of their coffee often, but when they do it should be the perfect temperature.
3.) Yeti Rambler Bottle
The Rambler Bottle is an excellent “water bottle” for any occasion, but I picture my husband and I clipping it to our hiking backpacks/ baby carrier on one of our hikes… We don’t own this one yet, but I have been meaning to buy this one, maybe this Christmas will be the right time!
4.) Yeti Rambler Colster
Keeping his (ahem, my) cold one cold. This colster does an amazing job at that. I bet you could think of a few people you could gift this to.
5.) Yeti Tundra Coolers
If you want to purchase a big gift you can’t go wrong with a Yeti Tundra Cooler. Plenty of size options to choose from, go big if you can, but remember, they do get heavy!
While I wouldn’t necessarily suggest purchasing this for her, I want to assure you that she will love it too, just as I do. (Maybe buy her one of the Yeti Hopper soft coolers instead, they are super cute and I know I want one).
In my opinion, the Tundra Cooler is the best cooler that money can buy, and we have used ours WAY more than I would have guessed. It’s the perfect gift for a couple or a family, or for the man in your life. Yes, we have brought it along on all of our camping and rafting trips, but we also haul it out for all of our parties. You should see all the men swooning over this thing. Ice stays intact for days.
I am even more excited to have this big cooler now that we have a family because I know we can just throw it in the back of the truck or our SUV and keep a good amount of anything we will need cold for a day trip or overnight.
I realize that was a heavy focus on Yeti Products but we LOVE our Yeti products and I am so confident your giftee will be satisfied. I know I wouldn’t mind receiving more!
6.) Whoopie Pies
This gift is sure to be a hit for anyone. This Maine treat is certainly a people pleaser, and is always special. This is a great gift idea if all else fails.
I dare anyone not to smile when they receive a box of whoopie pies. Our absolute favorite whoopies are Wicked Whoopies. We are lucky because we can buy them locally and for that reason I often add them to gifts for my out of state friends and family!
7.) Darn Tough Socks
These socks are so good that they are guaranteed for life. I originally received them as a Christmas gift and I have been hooked ever since. They are made in Vermont, and are of the highest quality. They make all kinds of styles and cuts and of course are also available in men’s. If you are not sure which cut to pick, I think this basic micro crew style is a safe choice for everyday use.
8.) Google Nest Wifi

Google Nest Wifi- This is a new product that is on my shopping list this Christmas. From what I understand, this will be a technological upgrade in the wifi/router department and it promises to provide excellent coverage throughout your home and is scalable to even the largest homes… and it should keep my husband and I from losing our minds on a semi-regular basis when we have issues with our wifi signal.
As a couple of added bonuses the Nest Wifi point has a speaker with the Google Assistant so you can play music, manage your Wi‑Fi network, find answers, control your connected devices, and more, using your voice. In our case, it will sync up with our Nest Thermostat. It is truly a gift the whole family can enjoy!
9.) Nest Thermostat

Nest Thermostat– This is the version of the Nest smart thermostat that we have and we found it easy to install. With the Nest thermostat you can manage your home’s temperature from anywhere. Come home to a warm home with the peace of mind in knowing that the Nest automatically turns itself down to maintain a lower temperature while you are away. With 2 zones of heat in our primary living spaces, we needed to purchase two of them and I found this model to be more economical while also doing everything we needed, but just know that there are multiple versions out there so you can decide which is best for you.
10.) Push Pin Travel Map
Know someone who likes to travel? It is fun to keep track of where you have been and this corkboard map is one of the cutest options I have seen to do just that! Also a great option for people with plans to travel or a bucket list because they can populate the map with places they would like to visit!
The World Flag Pins are a unique, neat idea, but if they do not suit your taste, I would suggest buying these pins to go with it.
11.) Bluetooth Speakerphone for Car

Because I live in Maine and we recently had a new hands free law implemented, I have noticed that a handful of the people that I know have still not come up with an acceptable bluetooth solution for their vehicles. Some are fortunate to have bluetooth call technology already in their vehicles, others are too busy to find a new solution to deal with this hands free law (that isn’t going away) and are either missing calls while driving or sporadically driving illegally. You know who you are.
Since I feel like all of us in Maine know someone who still needs a solution for their vehicle, I am including this affordable solution that seems to be one of the best retrofitted options available. Unfortunately, none of the retrofitted options seem to be the perfect solution, but this one here has great reviews for being a dedicated speakerphone with the best combination of useful features including audio quality, value and convenience. It’s an excellent gift idea to help your loved ones become a little bit safer on the road and save them the time of having to research a solution. Oh and it’s affordable at under $30.
12.) Bose Micro Bluetooth Speaker
This Bose Micro Bluetooth Speaker is awesome. It clips on to just about anything and can be used at home, outdoors (it’s waterproof) or on the go. You will be shocked at the sound quality and range for this size device. This would be awesome for anyone. Think camping, beach, hiking, BBQ’s at home, poolside, clipping on yourself as you get some housework done, you name it. Heck, throw this one on your wish list too.
13.) The Chive T-Shirts

You will find a gift here for anyone with a sense of humor or New England sports fans. My husband get’s a kick out of these t-shirts and showed me this one recently. I think he wants it. Chances are that your Patriot’s loving husband, wife, sister or brother will want it too. They have men’s and women’s styles highlighting many interests and topics.
14.) Wine Aerator
Anyone who drinks red wine will appreciate this wine aerator. Aerating a red wine allows you to best experience its intended flavors and is so easy to do! I have tried aerators before and not noticed a different in taste but with this one I really do. We use it every time we pour a glass of red, you simply pour it right through the aerator into each glass and the wine is ready to drink.
15.) Relative Insanity Game

I literally die laughing everytime I play this game. It is incredibly funny and sits on the line of appropriate/inappropriate. Actually, it is only as inappropriate as your mature mind chooses for it to be. Think Cards Against Humanity that you can actually play with your folks- not raunchy, but hilarious. And the punchlines focus on the hilarity of the family dynamic. Not excellent for children, but perfectly fine for ages 14 + as designated on the game itself. Buy this for anyone with 3 or more friends they could play with on occasion. Multiple people have played this with us at our home this year and literally ordered the game for themselves as we were playing. No joke! Excellent gift idea. Tip: try to take time to play the game with the people you gift it to as soon as possible. The best part is laughing with them!!!!
THANKS so much for viewing this gift list. I am really excited about it and hope you will consider sharing this with your followers too. Please comment below to let me know if you found a couple gift ideas for any of the adults in your life on this list.
